A family kitchen that grew up.

The Dining House is a family business based in Amasaman. It started the way most good kitchens do — cooking for people we know, at occasions that mattered to them, and getting told to do it professionally often enough that we finally listened.

We are led by Margaret Ohenewaa, who plans every menu and is at every event. She is supported by a full-time head chef and a team of service staff we have trained ourselves. Nothing goes out of our kitchen that she has not tasted.

We cook Ghanaian food properly — jollof that tastes like someone cared, soups with body, grilled meats that are not dry — alongside continental dishes for guests who want them. We are licensed by the Food and Drugs Authority, our kitchen is inspected, and every person who touches your food holds a current medical certificate.
